INSPIRING WOMEN IN TECH

Women have been making an impact in technology from its earliest developments, with women cited as being the first computer developers (Ada Lovelace), having invented WIFI (Hedy Lamarr), and boasting the title Mother of the Internet (Radia Perlman). We continue to make an impact in the 21st century as the technology field expands at a rapid rate.

On the 8th of March, Mobius Consulting Mauritius hosted an event in partnership with She Leads Tech and ISACA to encourage young and experienced alike to be innovative in their fields and bold in their ideas.

During the panel discussion, we heard from Lady Sarojini Jugnauth (Keynote Speaker), Lovena J Reddi (Senior Managing Consultant at Mobius Consulting), Lynn Martin (Mobius Group Strategist), Vimla Tannoo (Senior Consultant at Mobius Consulting), Joanne Esmyot (Director at Public Digital), and Yogesh Sen Bappoo (Vice President ISACA Mauritius Chapter) on the topic “Inspiring Women In Tech”. After the panel, attendees enjoyed a light lunch and networking.

The event also received coverage from the national TV channel, Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation.
